    "description": "<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p> <strong>Crossing Guard Substitute</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>$21.00 per crossing </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Crossing location:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Willow Canyon Elementary - 9650 South 1700 East Sandy</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Peruvian Park Elementary - 1545 East 8425 South Sandy</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>JOB SUMMARY</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Responsible to assist children to and from school in the crosswalk areas while following Crossing Guard Expectations and State Laws.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At least 18 years of age.</p>\n<p>Proof of citizenship or current legal documentation to work in the United States.</p>\n<p>High School Diploma or GED.</p>\n<p>No illegal drug use in the last 2 years.</p>\n<p>No disqualifying convictions, or offense involving dishonesty, unlawful sexual conduct, physical violence, the unlawful use, sale, or possession of a controlled substance, or any offenses involving children.</p>\n<p>Have a valid government issued ID.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Due to the nature of this position, the successful applicant must pass a required Sheriff’s Office pre-employment background check.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintains a sense of responsibility for the safety of students.</li>\n <li>Communicates with others clearly.</li>\n <li>Attends training outside the normal crossing periods.</li>\n <li>Adheres to training, instruction, and policy.</li>\n <li>Accepts work responsibilities and exhibit’s a high degree of professionalism.</li>\n <li>Reports any issues with crossing guards or citizens to the chain of command.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>",
