Essentially responsible for all aspects of occupational therapy service delivery provided under a physician approved plan of care and accountable for the safety and effectiveness of the occupational therapy service delivery process.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements of Occupational Therapist (OT): </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program </li>\n <li>Current state OT license. </li>\n <li>Current CPR. </li>\n <li>At least one (1) year experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.  </li>\n <li>Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and priorities at once. </li>\n <li>Maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of the position. </li>\n <li>Experience in long-term care settings preferred.<p>https://info.flclearinghouse.com/</p> #PARAMOUNT123 </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties & Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist (OT): </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for evaluating and treating residents with conditions that are mentally, physically, developmentally, or emotionally disabling, to improve their ability to perform tasks of daily living. </li>\n <li>Conducting physical and psychological assessments of clients and developing or following a treatment plan. </li>\n <li>Aids patients in improving their basic motor functions and reasoning. abilities </li>\n <li>Incorporates physical exercises to increase patients’ strength and dexterity </li>\n <li>Maintain documentation of Resident care services by auditing records. </li>\n <li>Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare teams & contributes to a team effort. </li>\n</ul>",
