Leads, coaches, and manages technical personnel within Service Department.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<h3><strong><u>WHAT YOU’LL DO</u></strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Protect and maintain all assets of assigned service area.</li>\n <li>Monitor quality of work performed by technicians.</li>\n <li>Implement company safety and housekeeping procedures.</li>\n <li>Investigate and resolve customer complaints.</li>\n <li>Control and maintain tools and equipment.</li>\n <li>Ensure a safe and responsible work environment is maintained.</li>\n <li>Assist with customer warranty issues when necessary.</li>\n <li>Accomplish all supervisory responsibilities associated with branch personnel.</li>\n <li>Directly supervise service personnel.</li>\n <li>Participate in the recruitment of new service personnel.</li>\n <li>Generate repair orders for customer repairs.</li>\n <li>Purchase and control job supplies.</li>\n <li>Train new service personnel.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Your skills and abilities (required qualifications)</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.</li>\n <li>Skills: Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n <li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.</li>\n <li>Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.</li>\n <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.</li>\n <li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.</li>\n <li>Travel: None</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Office and plant environment.</li>\n <li>Keyboarding, lifting, standing, bending, walking.</li>\n <li>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>ABOUT GREAT DANE</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>With a history dating back to 1900, Great Dane has established itself as a transportation solutions leader of today – delivering innovative products and exceptional services that help our customers and employees succeed.
