With a combined legacy of resilience, Magnera will build personal partnerships that withstand an ever-changing world.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic plays a critical role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy industrial equipment to ensure maximum equipment uptime and process reliability. This position supports a nonwoven manufacturing environment and requires hands-on mechanical expertise in conveyors, bearings, chains, lubrication systems, and industrial alignment techniques. The mechanic must be comfortable operating within a CMMS platform, executing PMs, logging work, and ensuring timely communication of equipment conditions and work completion.</p>\n<h2>Primary Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment, including conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, and drive systems.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues in a timely and safe manner to minimize downtime.</li>\n <li>Track conveyor belts, align rollers, and replace worn components as necessary.</li>\n <li>Perform precision shaft and pulley alignments once trained (laser and dial indicators).</li>\n <li>Lubricate bearings, chains, and other mechanical components using correct methods and schedules.</li>\n <li>Interpret mechanical blueprints, equipment schematics, and work orders with guidance.</li>\n <li>Use CMMS software for work order tracking, time entry, and PM execution.</li>\n <li>Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform root cause failure analysis as needed.</li>\n <li>Safely operate lifts, cranes, and hoists; follow LOTO procedures and plant safety rules.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with other maintenance and operations personnel to ensure production needs are met.</li>\n <li>Participate in continuous improvement efforts to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or GED required; trade school or technical training is a plus.</li>\n <li>5+ years of relevant industrial maintenance experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>\n <li>Experience in nonwoven or other heavy industrial environments strongly preferred.</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including gears, chains, bearings, and drive systems.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with lubrication techniques and best practices.</li>\n <li>Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and alignment instruments.</li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and maintenance manuals.</li>\n <li>Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) preferred.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently on day shift with minimal supervision.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Physical Requirements & Work Environment</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and lift up to 75 pounds regularly.</li>\n <li>Ability to work in elevated areas and confined spaces.</li>\n <li>Exposure to industrial noise, heat, cold, and humidity.</li>\n <li>Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays if needed.</li>\n</ul>",
