We meet people where they are&mdash;with radical welcome and deep respect.</p>\n\n<h2><strong>Your Role</strong></h2>\n\n<p>As an <strong>On-Call</strong>&nbsp;<strong>Resident Advocate</strong>, you&rsquo;ll be at the heart of our shelter community&mdash;providing direct support, ensuring safety, and creating a welcoming environment for our residents. You&rsquo;ll monitor wellness, de-escalate crises, distribute meals and harm reduction supplies, and contribute to the upkeep and integrity of the Village. You&rsquo;ll play a vital part in creating a space where dignity, healing, and hope thrive.</p>\n\n<h2><strong>Key Responsibilities Include</strong></h2>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Engage residents with daily support, activities, and wellness checks.</li>\n\t<li>Respond to crises with compassion&mdash;administering Narcan, calling emergency services, and using trauma-informed approaches.</li>\n\t<li>Monitor the safety and cleanliness of rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.</li>\n\t<li>Provide meals and uphold food safety standards.</li>\n\t<li>Support residents through transitions&mdash;whether discharging, moving in, or receiving care.</li>\n\t<li>Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and clean facility&mdash;inside and out.</li>\n\t<li>Uphold the values of <strong>Absolute Dignity</strong>, <strong>Leaning into Curiosity</strong>, and <strong>Radical Welcome</strong> in every interaction.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>On-Call Schedule Availability:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li><strong><u>In order to pick up shifts you must be available for some or all of these shifts weekdays/weekends: 2nd shift from 2:00pm - 10:30pm, 3rd shift 10:00pm - 6:30am&nbsp;</u></strong></li>\n\t<li><u><strong>This position is eligible for shift differential pay depending on the shift worked.</strong></u></li>\n</ul>\n",
