font-size: 12pt\">Follows and understands proper safety and temporary grounding procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Reads and interprets outdoor electrical distribution system drawings.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Performs layout and supervision of small line construction projects.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Operates equipment, bucket trucks, digger derrick (line) trucks, trenchers, and backhoe.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Installs power poles and guys with all related cross arms, insulators and hardware.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Performs basic rigging associated with the installation of switchgear, transformers, steel structures, etc.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Erects steel substation structures in accordance with erection drawings.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Strings aerial conductors with proper sags and tensions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Performs work on energized circuits up to 15,000 volts.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Installs aerial and pad mounted transformers and related switchgear.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Properly installs and terminates primary (5 KV and up) cables.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Makes correct transformer connections.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Installs substation ground grid systems.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Performs layout and supervision of duct banks and cable installations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Minimum of four years spent primarily in the aerial line and underground power construction field.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Understands general line construction standards and procedures for primary and secondary installations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Demonstrated proficiency in the safe operation of line and bucket trucks, trenchers, and backhoe.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Maintains current CPR card.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Demonstrated ability to use basic electrical measuring and testing equipment (megger, volt, amp and ohm meters).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
