The incumbent will promote the delivery of patient centred care through the application of professional standards. The position will have specific responsibilities related to patient needs and clinical knowledge.</p><p><strong>Human Resources Exemption: </strong>No</p><p><strong>Licenses</strong></p><ul><li>Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS)</li><li>Valid Class 5 driver's license</li></ul><p><strong>Education</strong></p><ul><li>Graduate from a Respiratory Therapy training program accredited by the CSRT</li><li>Successful completion of an exam approved by the CSRT</li></ul><p><strong>Competencies</strong></p><ul><li>Communication skills</li><li>Interpersonal skills</li><li>Judgement Skills</li><li>Demonstrates ability to show initiative and self-direction.</li></ul><p><strong>Experience</strong></p><ul><li>One (1) year previous related life skills/experience</li></ul><p><strong>Knowledge &amp; Abilities</strong></p><ul><li>Demonstrated knowledge, experience, or training in all of the position duties</li><li>Ability to work well both independently and in a team</li><li>Ability to respond under pressure.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to function effectively in high stress and in emergency situations</li><li>Manages change effectively, demonstrates positive attitude</li><li>Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals</li></ul><p><strong>Other Education and Training</strong></p><ul><li>Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS)</li><li>Experience with Adult education to&nbsp;other care providers an asset</li></ul><p><strong>Other Information</strong></p><ul><li>Registered/eligible with Saskatchewan College of Respiratory Therapist (SCRT)</li><li>Requires a valid driver’s license.
