The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager will supervise&nbsp;</span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: georgia, serif;\">the successful operation of the pool and beach areas in a manner that maximizes profitability and adds value to the vacation experience of our guests and Tarpon Club members. &nbsp;Provide training, communication, and support to maintain and raise service standards to the highest levels of excellence. &nbsp;Model and maintain a personable, professional demeanor while working under pressure in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: georgia, serif;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: georgia, serif;\"><strong>POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: georgia, serif;\">Oversee, lead, and empower team members to meet and exceed the high standards of excellence and guest services of the hotel and Tarpon Club.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: georgia, serif;\">Develop relationships with hotel guests and Tarpon Club members to create a friendly, inviting atmosphere and encourage repeat visits.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: georgia, serif;\">Conduct quality daily line-ups and team meetings to communicate pertinent corporate, team, event and VIP information. &nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: georgia, serif;\">Communicate service concerns, safety issues and departmental changes with Manager(s), F&amp;B and/or Executive Director.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: georgia, serif;\">Attend weekly BEO meetings.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: georgia, serif;\">Monitor department financials on a regular basis.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: georgia, serif;\">Complete daily walk-through of facility to ensure that sanitation, safety, preventive maintenance, and other programs are in place in area(s) of responsibility.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: georgia, serif;\">Conduct and supervise monthly deep cleaning projects.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: georgia, serif;\">Conduct on-going training of service standards and communicates monthly safety topics to ensure employee safety.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: georgia, serif;\">Ensure compliance with all applicable health, alcoholic beverage, fire, safety, sanitation and other laws/standards/requirements. &nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: georgia, serif;\">Address emergency situations in a safe and professional manner and according to standard practices.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: georgia, serif;\">Inventory beach and pool month end liquor inventories.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: georgia, serif;\">Ensure accuracy of daily setup of beach, beach bar and pool.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: georgia, serif;\">Work with the sales team on all events that take place at the beach and/or pool.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: georgia, serif;\">Communicate with the Manager, Weddings &amp; Special Events on a weekly basis regarding wedding ceremony setup and execution on the beach.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: georgia, serif;\">Complete the weekly beach/pool staff&rsquo;s schedule according to staffing standards.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: georgia, serif;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: georgia, serif;\"><strong>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE</strong><strong>/OTHER REQUIREMENTS:</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: georgia, serif;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Hospitality management and/or Culinary Management is preferred.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: georgia, serif;\">At least 2 years of experience as a Supervisor in the field of Food &amp; Beverage and Hospitality, preferably at a resort/hotel.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: georgia, serif;\">CPR/AED certification required.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: georgia, serif;\">Responsible Vendor and Manager Food Handling Certificates preferred.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: georgia, serif;\">Ability to obtain any government required licenses or certificates.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: georgia, serif;\">Profound knowledge of food and beverage items, methods of preparation and types of service.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: georgia, serif;\">Strong ability to lead, empower and motivate the team. &nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;
