Demonstrates integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence (I CARE values). </li>\n <li>Enhances and contributes to a safe environment for all colleagues, visitors, and patients. </li>\n <li>Directly oversees non-clinical teams critical to surgical access and efficiency. </li>\n <li>Leads initiatives to improve case flow, throughput, on-time starts, and turnover efficiency. </li>\n <li>Acts as a primary operational contact for surgeons regarding access, throughput, and efficiency concerns.</li>\n <li>Focuses on process improvement, data-driven decision making, surgeon experience, and patient access. </li>\n <li>Develops and presents operational performance data related to throughput, utilization, efficiency, and access. </li>\n <li>Works in close partnership with clinical leaders, surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative leaders. </li>\n <li>Performs miscellaneous duties and fulfills other responsibilities not expressly described herein.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Reports To: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Exec Dir/Surgical Services” (job code (JC): 103001)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Supervises:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Surgical Throughput Coords (JC: TBD), Supervisor/Surgical Support (JC: 077301), Surgical Support Technician II (JC: 070905), and Surgical Support Technician I (JC: 073705)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, operations, or a related field</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA), or Master of Public Health (MPH) degree or a master’s degree in a related field. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Five (5) years of progressive healthcare or surgical services operations experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Five (5) years in perioperative or surgical services operations experience.</li>\n <li> Experience leading teams and driving operational improvement. </li>\n <li>Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and/or performance improvement methodologies.
