Whether it’s designing roads, bridges, or multimodal systems, we ensure our designs are sustainable, cost-effective, and forward-thinking.  </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities, Requirements, and Total Rewards</h2>\n<p><strong>What You’ll Be Doing</strong></p>\n<p>As a valuable part of our <strong>Transportation team</strong>, a <strong>Project Manager</strong> will support a variety of projects and gain hands-on experience with responsibilities such as: </p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Lead the planning, design, and execution of roadway design projects including new construction, rehabilitation, and corridor improvements</p></li>\n <li><p>Serve as the primary client liaison, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring expectations are met or exceeded</p></li>\n <li><p>Oversee and manage project budgets, scopes, schedules, and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget</p></li>\n <li><p>Provide technical leadership and direction to engineers and designers on roadway geometry, grading, drainage, and traffic-related elementsPrepare and review engineering reports, design calculations, PS&E packages, and permit application</p></li>\n <li><p>Ensure project compliance with AASHTO, MUTCD, FHWA, and local/state DOT standards</p></li>\n <li><p>Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including municipalities, state agencies, and utilities</p></li>\n <li><p>Mentor and supervise junior staff, supporting their technical and professional growth</p></li>\n <li><p>Support business development activities including proposal writing, interviews, and client presentations</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What You’ll Need </strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field</li>\n <li>Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) – required</li>\n <li>10+ years of progressively responsible experience in transportation engineering, with emphasis on roadway/highway design</li>\n <li>Demonstrated success in project management, including team coordination, budget management, and client communication</li>\n <li>Proficiency in design software such as MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, AutoCAD Civil 3D</li>\n <li>Strong working knowledge of DOT standards, environmental permitting, and transportation funding mechanisms</li>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering</p></li>\n <li><p>Prior experience managing projects for state DOTs, MPOs, or large municipal clients</p></li>\n <li><p>Experience with design-build projects or municipal roadways</p></li>\n <li><p>Active participation in professional organizations (ASCE, ITE, APWA, etc.).</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Your Financial and Wellness Benefits</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Compensation is based on skills and experience as reflected in the pay range below</li>\n <li>Annual Bonus, Profit Sharing, and Employee Stock Ownership Plan</li>\n <li>Best in Class Medical Insurance</li>\n <li>Dental & Vision Insurance</li>\n <li>Wellness Rewards and Reimbursements</li>\n <li>Tuition Reimbursement and Qualified Student Loan Paydown Contributions</li>\n <li>Reimbursements for Licensure/ Certification Preparation and Fees</li>\n <li>Summer Fridays Flextime and Hybrid Work Environment</li>\n <li>Pet Insurance and Adoption Assistance </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>More Information about Tighe & Bond</h2>\n<p><strong>Ways to Grow Your Career</strong>We provide a structured career path with opportunities for professional development through tuition reimbursement, internal training, conference attendance, and professional memberships.
