Position Summary The Director of Home Health and Employee Health Services provides strategic leadership, clinical oversight, and operational management for both home health programs and employee health initiatives. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in the home setting while promoting workforce health, safety, regulatory compliance, and organizational excellence. Duties and Responsibilities Leadership & Operations Provide overall direction and management of home health and employee health departments Develop and implement policies, procedures, and strategic initiatives aligned with organizational goals Lead interdisciplinary teams including nursing, therapy, and employee health staff Collaborate with executive leadership, HR, clinical departments, and external partners Serve as liaison between home health services and internal departments Communicate effectively with patients, families, staff, and regulatory agencies Home Health Program Oversight Oversee delivery of skilled nursing, therapy, and support services in patient homes Ensure patient care meets quality, safety, and regulatory standards Manage admissions, care planning, coordination, and discharge processes Supervise clinical staff including hiring, training, and performance evaluations Monitor patient outcomes, satisfaction, and care coordination Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with reimbursement requirements Employee Health Services Direct employee health programs including screenings, immunizations, and occupational health services Manage workplace injury and illness programs, including reporting, follow-up, and return-to-work coordination Ensure compliance with CMS, OSHA, and workplace safety regulations Lead infection prevention and exposure control initiatives Provide employee wellness education and health promotion programs Maintain confidential employee health records and reporting systems Quality, Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards Lead quality improvement and risk management initiatives Prepare for and participate in audits, surveys, and inspections Monitor infection control practices across patient care and workforce environments Financial & Operational Management Develop and manage departmental budgets Analyze financial and operational data to improve efficiency and outcomes Optimize staffing models and resource utilization Ensure accurate billing and reimbursement processes for home health services Skills and Abilities Required Strong communication skills with patients, families, hospital staff, and the public Ability to use sound judgment and appropriate communication channels Strong reading comprehension for policies, procedures, and regulatory materials Knowledge of hospital systems, structure, and administrative processes Understanding of legal implications of employee health practices Ability to work effectively in a team-based healthcare environment Adaptability, flexibility, and ability to manage change Ability to work under stress while maintaining professionalism Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth Knowledge of HIPAA and other confidentiality laws with strict adherence to privacy policies Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain positive working relationships Commitment to treating all individuals with dignity and respect Physical Demands and Working Conditions Ability to sit or stand for extended periods Ability to move equipment such as audiovisual and training materials Occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays may be required Work in close proximity with others in a clean clinical environment Manual dexterity required for clinical tasks and equipment use Repetitive use of hands, arms, and eyes Ability to safely navigate patient care environments and equipment Potential exposure to hazardous materials, including body fluids Must follow universal precautions and all hospital safety protocols Comprehensive Benefit Package: •Health Insurance: Co-pay or HSA plan options: 100% paid for Employee •Dental: 100% paid for Employee •Vision: 100% paid for Employee •$50,000 Group Life Insurance with AD&D •Long-Term Disability: 100% paid for Employee •Medical and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts •Health Savings Account with employer contribution •Supplemental Insurances: Short-Term Disability, Supplemental Life and AD&D, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity and Accident •Retirement Plan: 457 plan Pre-Tax and Roth options If this role aligns with your career goals and interests, we encourage you to apply.
