Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)
Prepare monthly journal entries and perform general ledger account reconciliations Manage intercompany transactions, including invoicing and communication across entities Analyze and interpret accounting reports from service organizations and partners Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address accounting-related questions and issues Support internal and external audit processes, including annual audit preparation Maintain accuracy and confidentiality of financial information and records Identify opportunities for process improvements, particularly through automation Produce daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports (e.g., cash, accounts receivable) Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)
0+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Foundational knowledge of accounting principles, including debits/credits, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow Proficiency in Excel; experience with Smart View is a plus Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and legal documents Effective communication skills and the ability to build relationships across teams and levels Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred Hybrid work schedule with 4 days per week in-office in Charlotte, NC Benefits (What We Offer)
