    "description": "<p>PND Engineers is looking for a motivated Accounting Technician who enjoys coming to work each day knowing their contributions directly support more than 130 employees and managers across all of our offices.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You’ll Do</span></p>\n<p>Lend support to the accounting department and its specific areas of Accounts Payable, Billing, and Project Accounting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and friendly service to  vendors and project managers. This is a great ground-floor opportunity for someone who thrives on variety, responsibility, and making an impact in supportive environment.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We’re Looking For</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>An associate’s degree in accounting. Bachelor’s degree a plus.</li>\n<li>2-5 years of progressive experience in general accounting duties or in combination with education. Education may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis.</li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with project accounting software; familiarity with Deltek Ajera is a plus.</li>\n<li>Strong Microsoft Excel and Office skills.</li>\n<li>Attention to detail, dependability, and strong organization skills to succeed in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills</li>\n<li>Integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive records.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Why PND?</span></p>\n<p>Founded in Alaska in 1979, PND Engineers is known for solving tough engineering challenges with creativity and grit.
