We encourage you to learn more about opportunities with Pioneer Metal Finishing and join our team today!</p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Performs maintenance, installations, and repairs of equipment and building support systems that are necessary to the operation of the plant and offices at the facility.  This position requires a significant amount of collaboration and communication with other teams and individuals outside of the maintenance department. </p>\n<h2><strong>Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities</strong></h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Accountable for maintaining the department’s annual budget, ongoing PO processing, and vendor approval.</li>\n <li>Works with the other divisions as necessary to ensure full maintenance training and support throughout the company.</li>\n <li>Accountable for all OSHA-required safety training and administration within the department.</li>\n <li>Works closely with outside vendors to ensure issues are resolved immediately.</li>\n <li>Works on job duties and assignments as they relate to maintenance, repair, installing, fabricating, adjusting, troubleshooting, and any other maintenance duties as needed.</li>\n <li>Responsible for scheduled preventive maintenance checks.</li>\n <li>Responsible for departmental inventory control.</li>\n <li>Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions and operating difficulties.</li>\n <li>Perform mechanical, electrical, and plumbing operations.</li>\n <li>Coordinates start-up and shutdown functions on plant equipment and facilities with Maintenance Technicians.</li>\n <li>Respond to emergency calls as needed.</li>\n <li>Works consistently to resolve cited safety issues promptly.</li>\n <li>Responsible for maintaining departmental documentation as required.</li>\n <li>Working safely at all times in compliance with OSHA safety and EPA regulations.</li>\n <li>Adheres to all Quality System procedures and work instructions.</li>\n <li>Maintains strong relationships with employees including continuous communication and performance feedback to recognize contributions and address performance gaps.</li>\n <li>Promotes communication and teamwork with a focus on safety, quality, efficiency, and good housekeeping throughout the plant.</li>\n <li>Works in conjunction with Human Resources on all personnel issues including performance management and necessary disciplinary actions defined in the Pioneer Metal Finishing handbook.</li>\n <li>Represents the company professionally when always interacting with customers and vendors.</li>\n <li>Identifies opportunities for improvement and potential solutions to close the gap. </li>\n <li>Engages team members in implementing process improvements.</li>\n <li>Performs other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Sharp parts, sharp tooling, heaving carts, seasonal high temperature, and humidity levels, moderate noise levels, limited hand and air tool use, compressed air (must use hearing protection).</li>\n <li>Must be able to wear respiratory protection when required.</li>\n <li>Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs. unassisted.</li>\n <li>Potential splash exposure near lines.</li>\n <li>Various chemicals are used in the process.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2><strong>Education/Qualifications</strong></h2>\n<ul>\n <li>A minimum of an associate degree in Electro-Mechanical or another related Mechanical field is preferred, but not necessary.</li>\n <li>Requires broad-based knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing, HVAC.</li>\n <li>Preferred experience with PLC (Programming Logic Controller) required.</li>\n <li>Preferred experience with VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) required.</li>\n <li>Minimum of two years of work-related experience.</li>\n <li>Blueprint and schematic knowledge required.</li>\n <li>Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely, creative manner.</li>\n <li>Lean manufacturing experience preferred.</li>\n <li>ISO certification experience preferred.</li>\n <li>Must maintain a “Hands-on” style, willing and capable of taking a lead role in technical problem-solving efforts.</li>\n <li>Keen eye for detail to identify potential issues before they escalate.</li>\n <li>Strong team player and ability to influence positive outcomes.</li>\n <li>Encouraging collaboration and fostering a positive team dynamic.</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively and cooperatively with employees, vendors, and customers at all levels.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits Summary</h2>\n<p><em>We offer the following benefits to All Employees immediately upon hire:</em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Next-Day Pay: Don’t wait for payday;
