    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Manufacturing Test Technician / Service Technician</span></strong></p><p>Haumiller Engineering has an exciting opportunity for an experienced <strong>Manufacturing Test Technician / Service Technician</strong> to join our growing team. This role is responsible for final assembly, testing/debugging, field installation and service of custom automation machinery. You will also participate in customer product testing, demonstrations, technician education, and final quality control inspection of machinery prior to shipment. You will need to have the ability to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally. <strong>This position is based in our Belvidere, IL facility with flexibility to work in our South Elgin, IL facility.</strong></p><p>Our ideal candidate will have <strong>3+ years&rsquo; experience as a field service technician</strong> with additional experience as a lead machine builder testing, diagnosing and debugging automated machinery. Previous field experience troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving machine failures is required.&nbsp;</p><p>Haumiller Engineering is a <strong>100% employee-owned company</strong> that designs and manufactures high speed automation assembly and test equipment for the life science, personal care and food and beverage industries.</p><p><strong>What You Will Do:</strong></p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Perform machinery installations, service, and warranty claims through direct customer and representative contact</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Provides technical support to engineering and manufacturing for machinery upgrades and configurations including written documentation of field corrections and problems for their use.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Performs the testing of product samples supplied by the customer for the purpose of determining equipment compatibility and configuration.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Performs the final quality and performance testing of machinery.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>You will be involved in customer contact and assistance during machinery acceptance visits</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Perform a series of checks (electrical and mechanical), analyze part control, machine functions, and operations per specifications</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Flexibility to work in our South Elgin, IL or Belvidere, IL locations</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You Will Bring:</strong></p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>3+ years as a service technician with experience as lead machine builder for automated machinery</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Associate&rsquo;s degree or certificate from college or technical school or equivalent experience</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>PLC, Electrical (understands AC/DC Fundamentals, ability to read ladder logic and basic editing skills)</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Must know how to read detailed 3D drawings, electrical and pneumatic schematics&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Basic use of machine shop equipment (drill press, grinder, mill and lathe technology)</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>PLC experience a plus (ability to read ladder logic and basic editing skills)</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Previous experience using basic hand tools and measuring equipment (calipers, micrometer, scales and gauges)</p><p><br></p><p>Haumiller Engineering compensation decisions are based on relevant factors such as job-related skills, experience and education or training.
