The role involves ensuring continuous data availability, maintaining data quality, troubleshooting data transmission issues, and supporting 24/7 real-time operations environments.</p>\n<p>The successful candidate will work closely with drilling engineers, rig personnel, real-time operations teams, and technical support teams to ensure reliable and uninterrupted data services across multiple drilling operations.</p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Monitor real-time drilling and operational data streams from assigned rigs.</li>\n <li>Ensure continuous availability and integrity of rig data feeds.</li>\n <li>Identify and escalate data interruptions, anomalies, or communication failures.</li>\n <li>Perform first-level troubleshooting for data transmission and visualization issues.</li>\n <li>Validate incoming drilling data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.</li>\n <li>Monitor sensor/channel performance and report abnormal readings.</li>\n <li>Maintain proper mapping and configuration of real-time data channels.</li>\n <li>Support data cleansing and correction activities when required.</li>\n <li>Support real-time data aggregation and visualization platforms.</li>\n <li>Assist in maintaining rig connectivity and communication interfaces.</li>\n <li>Coordinate with IT/network teams and third-party vendors for issue resolution.</li>\n <li>Maintain system logs, incident records, and operational documentation.</li>\n <li>Communicate with rig personnel and customer representatives during operational incidents.</li>\n <li>Provide timely updates during data outages or system issues.</li>\n <li>Participate in shift handovers and operational status reporting.</li>\n <li>Follow company HSE, cybersecurity, and operational procedures.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with customer service standards and SLA requirements.</li>\n <li>\n  <p>Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.</p>\n  <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p></li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics &amp; Instrumentation, Information Technology or related technical discipline.</li>\n <li>3–5 years of experience in Knowledge of real-time drilling data systems and workflows.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with:\n  <ul>\n   <li>WITS / WITSML protocols</li>\n   <li>OPC UA and Modbus communication protocols</li>\n   <li>Real-time data aggregation systems</li>\n   <li>Data visualization platforms</li>\n   <li>Rig instrumentation and sensors</li>\n   <li>Industrial automation and data integration environments.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Understanding of drilling parameters and rig operations.</li>\n <li>Basic networking and troubleshooting knowledge.</li>\n <li>Experience with ticketing and incident management systems.</li>\n <li>Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a 24/7 rotational shift environment.</li>\n <li>Good communication and coordination abilities.</li>\n <li>Ability to work under pressure during operational incidents.</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.</li>\n <li>Experience supporting major drilling operations or upstream oil &amp; gas projects.</li>\n <li>Exposure to cybersecurity practices in operational technology environments.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and analytics tools.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with real-time drilling applications and reporting systems.</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:18pt\">&nbsp;</p>",
