    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Home Health Aide delivers quality home health care services to the Agency’s clients under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Therapist in accordance with physician orders, Agency and industry standards, and federal and state regulations.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility</li>\n <li>Engages residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care assistance</li>\n <li>Responds to all resident needs and/or requests for care promptly, and provides or obtains assistance with care as necessary</li>\n <li>Observes residents for changes in physical, emotional, mental, or behavioral condition, unusual symptoms, accidents, injuries, or unusual occurrences, and reports promptly to a licensed nurse</li>\n <li>Completes all forms and documentation such as incident reports, change of condition reports, and behavior tracking, as requested, and in a timely manner</li>\n <li>Prepares and serves meals, assists with eating, not including tube feeding</li>\n <li>Makes beds, empties garbage, and tidies rooms daily and as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Current CNA license in good standing</li>\n <li>Maryland Home Health Aide license</li>\n <li>CPR Certificate</li>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>Previous experience working with the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting also preferred</li>\n <li>Reliable transportation</li>\n</ul>",
