Maintenance Technician - Tacoma/Stadium District
Reports To: Property Manager
Pay: $30-$35/hour | Full-time | Hourly non-exempt
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day operations of a residential community situated in the Stadium District of downtown Tacoma, WA. This role is responsible for maintaining property systems, completing repairs, and ensuring a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment for residents under the direction of the Property Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Complete maintenance service requests, work orders, and apartment make-readies Perform general repairs including plumbing, electrical, painting, and structural work Monitor and maintain building systems and common areas Maintain grounds, including trash removal and landscaping upkeep Clean interior common spaces as needed Assist with special projects and vendor oversight Report safety hazards, incidents, or property issues promptly Participate in on-call and emergency maintenance rotation Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience or equivalent Proficient with hand and power tools Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Physically able to lift up to 50+ lbs and perform repetitive tasks What We Offer
