    "description": "<h2>Description</h2>\n<p>Markon is building a talent pool of Systems Engineers (Mid–Senior–Expert) to support future Intelligence Community missions. This pipeline opportunity is intended to identify qualified candidates to guide engineering teams in applying a multi-disciplined approach across the National System of Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG), Allied System of Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG), and Federal Agencies to ensure timely and accurate GEOINT. Selected candidates will be considered for future openings aligned to customer priorities.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Support the government in requirements engineering, solutions development, system integration, reliability, and maintainability across the NSG, ASG, and Federal Agencies.</li>\n <li>Support the planning, analysis, and traceability of user requirements, ensuring alignment with system architectures and cloud-based solutions.</li>\n <li>Support the translation of mission and customer requirements into scalable and high-performance system capabilities.</li>\n <li>Contribute to system architecture development by analyzing and allocating requirements across integrated IT systems.</li>\n <li>Support system integration efforts, ensuring seamless interoperability across platforms, services, and technologies.</li>\n <li>Conduct in-depth technical assessments, including Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), Course of Actions (CoAs), Trade Studies, and Engineering Evaluations.</li>\n <li>Support strategic technical planning and risk management aligned with government and agency objectives.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Education & Experience:</strong></li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Bachelor’s degree or higher in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical/scientific field.</li>\n  <li>Must have experience with the NGA, or highly related geospatial systems engineering.</li>\n </ul>\n <li><strong>Professional Experience:</strong></li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Mid-Level : 6-12 Years of Experience, BS Degree</li>\n  <li>Senior-Level : 12-18 Years of Experience, BS Degree</li>\n  <li>Expert-Level : 18+ Years of Experience, MS Degree</li>\n  <li>Field of Study: Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related STEM field.</li>\n  <li>Proven experience working within government environments, preferably within the Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD)</li>\n </ul>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Desired Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience working within government environments, preferably within the Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD).</li>\n <li>Experience with Systems Engineering Life Cycle and integration of System of Systems</li>\n <li>Experience in Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA) and cloud, on-premise, or hybrid infrastructure environments.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools and languages</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of Software Development Frameworks</li>\n <li>INCOSE Systems Engineering Certification </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Salary Range</h2>USD $140,000.00 - USD $160,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
