    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Penn College is seeking dedicated, student-focused nursing professionals to join our team as Non-Credit Practical Nursing Instructors. In this part-time role, you will provide high-quality instruction and/or clinical supervision to students enrolled in our clock-hour Practical Nursing Program. Your expertise will help prepare the next generation of compassionate, skilled practical nurses.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position is available at both our Williamsport and Wellsboro locations. During the application process, you will be able to indicate your preferred campus.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred</li>\n <li>Master's Degree in Nursing Preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure Current Pennsylvania RN license. Required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>EXPERIENCE</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>One (1) year of clinical nursing experience within two years of employment. Required</li>\n <li>Relevant teaching experience on the secondary or post secondary level. Preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>ABILITIES AND SKILLS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form in English.  Required</li>\n <li>Developed organizational skills. Required</li>\n <li>Must be certified in CPR at the Basic Life Support level or higher, and maintain certification. Required</li>\n <li>Must possess a valid driver's license. Preferred</li>\n <li>Ability to provide instruction in subject area for which hired. Required</li>\n <li>Functional ability with microcomputer functions. Required</li>\n <li>Knowledge of learning theory and classroom management techniques. Required</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently. Required</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide non-credit classroom and/or clinical instruction in the clock-hour practical nursing program.</li>\n <li>Identify student performance problems as they surface and consult with staff for resolution of the problem.</li>\n <li>Assist the student to benefit from adequate clinical experience by offering effective supervision and instruction in the clinical area.</li>\n <li>Assist other non-credit instructors and school administrators with laboratory development, coordination, and maintenance.</li>\n <li>Provide feedback to students and complete program evaluations.</li>\n <li>Maintain daily attendance records.</li>\n <li>Secure materials needed for instruction.</li>\n <li>Develop lesson plans; prepare assignments, supplemental teaching materials, sample tests, etc.</li>\n <li>Must comply with policies and procedures of clinical sites where instructing students.</li>\n <li>Attend a minimum of one nursing program meeting per level.</li>\n <li>Attend clinical facility orientations and updates as required by those facilities.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Physical Standards and Special Job Features</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Standing or walking for extended periods of time. </li>\n <li>Multiple physical positioning including full range of motion. </li>\n <li>Fine motor dexterity.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Pay Transparency</h2>Hourly rate is $45.00.\n<h2>College Statement</h2>\n<p>This is not a complete itemization of all facets of this position.
