Ask questions of guests and make personal connections to make them feel they are welcome and valued</li><li>Welcome each guest as they enter, and thank them as they leave, holding the door as often as possible</li><li>Seat guests at suitable tables for their needs and according to rotation so that servers receive an appropriate number of tables</li><li>Assist with table service, including:<ul><li>Filling empty beverages;</li><li>Clearing dishes from tables; and</li><li>Fetching and delivering items from tables</li></ul></li><li>Pre-bus, clear tables, and wipe them down</li><li>Wipe down menus</li><li>Answer phone calls, take reservations, and run to-go orders</li><li>Check to make sure restrooms are presentable, stock/clean as needed</li><li>Make sure that Server Assistant stand is always stocked (crayons, kid menus, menus, etc.)</li><li>Follow all Suburban Inns processes</li><li>Exhibit regular and recurrent attendance records</li><li>Other duties as requested by management</li></ul><p><strong>Position Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Minimum Knowledge:</strong> Requires ability to interpret / extract information and/or perform arithmetic functions.
