This role requires strong technical competence, sound judgment, and consistent adherence to safety and documentation standards.:</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Responsible for demonstrating commitment to and leadership of environmental health and safety principles, policies and procedures.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Execute engineering test plans with minimal supervision (reliability, endurance, environmental, and accuracy testing)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Conduct live-fire testing and advanced functional evaluations</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assemble, modify, and configure test articles per engineering direction</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Troubleshoot firearm and component failures and document root causes</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collect, analyze, and summarize test data for engineering review</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support development and validation of new test fixtures and methods</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Interface with Design, Manufacturing, and Quality teams during testing</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Train and mentor Technician I personnel</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure test activities comply with internal procedures and regulatory requirements</li></ul><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Expected to be a contributor to the company standards on high integrity, safety, fair and equitable treatment and a positive work environment</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provides adequate support, training and development to team members to continuously improve Safety, 6S, Quality, Delivery and Productivity.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Other responsibilities as deemed appropriate or necessary by management.</li></ul></div><p><br></p><p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">High school diploma or GED required (technical certificate or coursework preferred); Associate&rsquo;s Degree in engineering technology, manufacturing, or related field preferred, or a combination of related experience, education and/or training to sufficiently and successfully perform the essential functions of the job.&nbsp;</li></ul></div><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">2&ndash;5 years of relevant test, manufacturing, or firearms experience</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong understanding of firearm systems and operating principles</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proficiency with precision measurement tools and test equipment</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Preferred skills: experience with endurance, environmental, or military-style test protocols; basic data analysis and reporting experience; and exposure to root cause analysis and corrective action processes.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Demonstrated ability to work in accordance with our Company Values.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 pounds.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting and bending throughout the workday.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, to include working in and around machinery, exposure to noise and chemicals, lights/lasers, etc.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment as required by your position and/or Company policy.</li></ul></div><p><br></p><p><strong>Daniel Defense is an EOE AA M/F/Vet/Disability employer and promotes a &quot;Drug-Free Workplace.&quot;</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Note: The statements above are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by those assigned to the job.
