Our vision is to become a worldwide full spectrum LVCG and cyber training/analysis developer, integrator and services provider.</p>\n<h2>Position Overview</h2>\n<p>This position is for the NCRC Range Modernization (RM) Software Engineer position providing development, testing, and support associated with their designated NCRC product scrum team.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform as a software developer on an NCRC product scrum team.</li>\n <li>Support resolution of open program problem reports (PPRs) associated with their designated NCRC product scrum team.</li>\n <li>Develop unit tests for development assignments and support integration testing efforts.</li>\n <li>Execute the software engineering tasks necessary to maintain and make changes to program baseline architectures.</li>\n <li>Provide occasional development guidance and input to junior software developers.</li>\n <li>Support cyber range capability assessments, evaluations, and technology prototypes.</li>\n <li>Provide remote site support for setup, configuration, and delivery activities.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required Experience/Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree with a focus in computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline with corresponding experience and demonstrated mastery of relevant topics.</li>\n <li>Two (2) years or more of related, proven experience performing similar duties.</li>\n <li>High-level knowledge of: software development to include agile software development practices; programming languages; operating systems; networks; enterprise and consumer IT concepts, architectures, and systems (compute, network, storage).</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Python, Java, and C/C++ development and scripting in PowerShell and bash.</li>\n <li>Experience with Linux-based operating systems.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of one or more continuous integration tools such as Jenkins.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of one or more of the following: MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL</li>\n <li>Experience with project logistics and working with controlled engineering baselines.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with version control systems such as SVN and Git.</li>\n <li>Ability and experience effectively communicating technical and programmatic issues.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to work within teams.</li>\n <li>Strong organizational skills.</li>\n <li>Top Secret clearance eligibility.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Preferred Experience/Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Master’s degree with a focus in computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline, or five (5) years or more of related, proven experience performing similar duties.</li>\n <li>Experience working with platform development, end-users (operators), and system developers.</li>\n <li>Strong experience with Linux-based operating systems.</li>\n <li>Experience with complex enterprise infrastructures using various operating systems and configuring domain services such as AD, Exchange/email, DNS, DHCP, VPN, databases, IIS, Apache, etc.</li>\n <li>Experience with virtualization and containerization technologies such as: VMWare, Docker, HyperV, Xen, Kubernetes, etc.</li>\n <li>Experience with software defined networking and network function virtualization.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, TFTP, DNS, FTP, etc.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of user simulator technologies and solutions, which generate network and application traffic to simulate realistic users.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of DevSecOps methodologies and tools.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Special Requirements/Security Clearance</h2>\n<p>Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U. S. Citizenship status and a SECRET security clearance, with an ability to obtain a TOP SECRET security clearance.
