    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">POSITION SUMMARY:</span></strong></p><p>This position is responsible for participating in the provision of transportation services to qualified WCCHC patients including reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities, as a part of the spectrum of enabling services. It is expected to work within the program directives of the funding source, within the philosophical framework set by the Board of Directors, and within the WCCHC community. This position actively participates in special activities of the health center.</p><p>Must be able to safely operate all company vehicles including the 14-passenger ADA accessible Handi-Van style bus with wheelchair lift, Mobile School Based Clinic Bus, Dental Clinic Van, Mobile Clinic Van and other vehicles as deemed necessary.&nbsp;Must be able to safely and properly load and unload passengers&nbsp;and&nbsp;secure&nbsp;wheelchair&nbsp;passengers.&nbsp;Able&nbsp;to&nbsp;analyze&nbsp;best&nbsp;routes&nbsp;to&nbsp;use&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;effective&nbsp;in providing on time pick-ups and drop-offs.&nbsp;Must be able to provide timely and accurate reports on accidents and incidents, maintain logs, data entry, appointment scheduling, and vehicle maintenance. Safety is priority.</p><p>What our PTDs do is not just drive our company vehicles, but provide extended, professional services for our passengers from initial greeting to drop-off, and they do this by building relationships with the passengers and having compassion/empathy with giving them the most positive transport experience ever. &nbsp;It is also expected that this role performs in a professional manner when working with staff for the mobile services.</p><p><br></p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:</strong></p><p>1. &nbsp;High school diploma or equivalent education required</p><p>2. &nbsp;Minimum of 2 years&rsquo; experience in the provision of quality medical transportation services as a Patient Transport Driver, passenger transport or the equivalent</p><p>3. &nbsp;Experience and the ability to safely operate various type of passenger-carrying company vehicles including the 14-passenger ADA Handi-Van style bus or equivalent in compliance with federal, state, county and company requirements</p><p>4. &nbsp;Current BLS/BCLS certification required and biannual maintenance required.
