    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">We’re looking for an exceptional maths teacher for an exceptional opportunity at The Island Private School of Limassol, to teach advanced mathematics to gifted and talented students on our unique Tech Leaders of the Future program. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Our academically selective program combines the deep analytical rigor of Eastern mathematical traditions with the Western project-oriented approach. The program is structured to develop a deep conceptual understanding of abstract structures in algebra, the formal underpinnings of calculus (analysis), and the modern perspective on geometry through transformations and vector spaces. The core emphasis is on logical reasoning, abstract problem-solving, and appreciating the interconnectedness and elegance of pure mathematics. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">It goes without saying that the successful candidate will be an exceptionally talented mathematician. font-size: 12pt\">Differentiated Instruction: Adapt teaching methods and materials to suit the varied learning styles, strengths, and abilities of all students, ensuring that each student reaches their full potential.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Curriculum Planning: Design and implement detailed lesson plans that cater to the MYP/DP Mathematics framework, fostering a solid understanding of key mathematical concepts.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Assessment &amp; Evaluation: Develop, administer, and assess a variety of tasks and tests to monitor student progress, providing timely, constructive feedback to both students and parents.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Student Support: Offer additional support through extra lessons, one-on-one tutoring, and mentoring for students needing further assistance.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Mathematics Department and other subject teachers to create interdisciplinary units and projects that enhance student learning.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Extracurricular Involvement: Lead and support extracurricular activities such as math clubs and other events related to mathematics.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, teaching credential) is preferred.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">A minimum of 5 years of experience teaching mathematics at the secondary school level, with familiarity in adapting lessons for diverse learning needs.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Proven experience in teaching MYP Mathematics would be an advantage. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Strong knowledge of the IB MYP curriculum and assessment strategies.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Ability to inspire and engage students, promoting a love of mathematics and fostering a positive learning environment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Excellent organizational, communication, and classroom management skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;
