Description
DCCM is seeking a Building Inspector to support residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects. This role is responsible for performing field inspections, ensuring compliance with applicable state and local codes, and working closely with contractors, clients, and internal teams throughout the construction process.
This position may be filled at varying levels depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
Perform field inspections across structural, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems Ensure compliance with state and municipal building codes and regulations Interpret construction plans, specifications, and related documents Identify code violations and provide clear corrective direction Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation Assist contractors, architects, and the public with code interpretation and inspection processes Conduct site investigations and support resolution of construction-related issues Collaborate with internal teams and participate in project-related meetings Work Location
