    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\">As a <strong>Traffic Project Engineer</strong> at Isthmus Engineering, you will join a talented and growing team that collaborates with colleagues, clients, and agencies to efficiently deliver successful transportation-related projects. You will be part of a company that cares about you as an individual and aims to provide meaningful project opportunities and career development in a team-focused yet autonomous work environment.</p><p>The responsibilities for the position of Traffic Project Engineer include:</p><ul><li>Managing traffic tasks by utilizing communication, initiative, and follow through skills.</li><li>Leveraging engineering knowledge and CADD technology to develop plans and documents for transportation projects that meet project goals and adhere to applicable design standards. Primary work areas may include signing, pavement marking, work zone traffic control, signal design, and traffic operations modeling.</li><li>Mentoring junior team members and overseeing work of others in the Traffic group, including design calculations, plan development, and agency design requirements.</li><li>Evolving innovation, best practices, and efficiency within the Traffic group and across Isthmus.</li><li>Evidencing continued commitment to individual, company, and industry improvement.</li></ul><p>The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:</p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or graduate degree in Civil Engineering field or a closely related field.</li><li>Registration as a Professional Engineer in Minnesota, or ability to obtain the same within six months.</li><li>Two or more years of experience in traffic engineering (Four or more years of transportation design experience preferred).</li><li>Experience with MnDOT design and plan preparation a plus.</li><li>Experience with OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation, or Civil 3D; SignCAD; and traffic modeling software.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with roadway lighting design and analysis a plus.</li></ul><p>The ideal candidate will also demonstrate the following skills:</p><ul><li>Ability to communicate effectively.</li><li>Strong time management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Proficiency in leveraging CADD as an aid to quality design and efficient plan production.</li><li>Ability to maintain productivity in an autonomous environment.</li><li>Positive team-focused attitude.</li></ul><p>Please provide detailed project experience, including specific roles and tasks for at least three projects in your resume.</p><p>Isthmus welcomes candidates looking for a full-time, part-time, or customized work schedule.</p><p>Isthmus welcomes candidates looking for office or hybrid work locations.</p><p><strong>Compensation and Benefits</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>The anticipated base salary range for this position is $85,000-$105,000/year for a 40-hour base work week.
