The Opportunity You've spent years watching MrBeast and understanding why the videos work. You can break down a challenge format, name the moment a bit lands, and explain what makes one elimination structure better than another. You've worked on YouTube content where your creative decisions moved retention, watch time, or audience response, and that feedback shaped your taste. This role is built for that person. The Creative Specialist sits at the front of MrBeast's creative development pipeline. You'll take incoming concepts, develop them into pitchable video frameworks, and present those frameworks live, weekly, to senior creative leadership. Your judgment about what belongs on the channel, and what doesn't, is the core of the job. ***This role is preferred to be in Greenville, North Carolina, but we will consider hybrid candidates who can travel to Greenville, NC as needed *** What You'll Do Receive creative briefs and incoming concepts and develop them into fully pitchable video frameworks: premise, challenge structure, elimination mechanics, key visual moments, and emotional payoff Use AI tools daily to expand creative surface area: generate volume, pressure-test directions, and surface angles you wouldn't reach working alone, then apply editorial judgment to find what actually belongs on the channel Filter aggressively and own your reasoning. The job is knowing which ideas are great, which need more development, and which would never work on main channel, and being able to articulate the difference without ambiguity Present your selections to senior creative leadership with a clear point of view and the ability to defend your reasoning in a fast-moving, high-accountability environment Carry multiple concepts simultaneously at different stages of development, cycling through feedback and revision until greenlit for production Build and maintain a living reference library of challenge mechanics, elimination formats, and visual bit templates structured well enough that the broader creative team can actually pull from it Stay close to what's working on YouTube: format trends, challenge design, audience retention patterns, and bring relevant outside references into the development process What You'll Bring Experience working on YouTube content, in a creator studio, or in a production environment where output volume was high and audience response was fast and measurable. You've seen the feedback loop between a creative call and an audience reacting to it. Deep, demonstrated familiarity with MrBeast's content catalog: format history, challenge mechanics, elimination structures, and what has and has not worked on the channel. Active, daily use of AI tools as a genuine part of how you already work. You can show the process, not just describe it. Strong editorial judgment: the ability to evaluate a large volume of ideas quickly, identify the handful worth pursuing, and explain the reasoning without ambiguity. Live pitching ability: comfortable presenting and defending creative selections in a high-stakes environment with senior stakeholders. Preferred Background in game design, competition format development, or puzzle construction, where tension, fairness, and payoff are explicit design problems Experience in any creative role requiring rapid curation of large volumes of raw material under deadline Ability to speak in depth about specific MrBeast format patterns The base compensation ranges from $75,000– $150,000 , plus 10% annual bonus, plus an employee equity plan grant and comprehensive benefits.
