This role will interact with various industries and provide a broad exposure to assurance and accounting services in public accounting. Assignments will be under the direction of Audit and Assurance team and engagement partners.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications for this position:</span></em></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field</li>\n<li>Progress toward or intent to obtain CPA license preferred</li>\n<li>Basic understanding of accounting principles including (U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and SSARS) and financial statements<br></li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills</li>\n<li>Ability to maintain confidentiality of client information</li>\n<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Excel<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What do we need you to do?</span></em></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in the execution of compilation, review and audit procedures in accordance with SSARS and GAAS, respectively.</li>\n<li>Assist in analyzing financial data, investigating variances, and documenting conclusions</li>\n<li>Perform audit testing, including evaluating or testing internal controls and substantive testing</li>\n<li>Ensure engagement documentation complies with firm policies and professional standards</li>\n<li>Assist in preparation of financial statements and note disclosures</li>\n<li>Communicate professionally with clients to request information and clarify accounting matters</li>\n<li>Manage multiple engagements and deadlines concurrently</li>\n<li>Maintain client confidentiality and comply with ethical standards<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What's in it for you?</span></em></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive wages, generous paid time off, and paid holidays.<br></li>\n<li>Growing organization that is looking for people who want to do better for themselves, their teammates and their clients. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Upward mobility and growth opportunities. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Although we take our work very seriously, we don't take ourselves too seriously.
