    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span lang=\"EN-CA\"><strong><u>Senior Environmental Scientist or Engineer (Contaminated Sites) – Fredericton or Bedford</u></strong></span></p><p><span lang=\"EN-CA\">There’s no pledge more important than the one we make to look after our environment, and we’re committed to helping you do exactly that.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span lang=\"EN-CA\"><strong>Who are we looking for?</strong></span></p><p><span lang=\"EN-CA\">We are currently looking for a Senior Environmental Scientist or Engineer to join our Contaminated Site Assessment and Remediation (CAR) Teams in our Atlantic Canada office location in Fredericton, NB or in Bedford, NS.</span></p><p><span lang=\"EN-CA\"><strong>Working with an energetic and high-performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:&nbsp;</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\"><strong>Engineering Solutions Design</strong>: Overseeing, planning, and designing of environmental sampling and analysis work plans;</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\"><strong>Health, Safety, and Environment:</strong> Completing of environmental risk assessments;&nbsp;Implementing and enforcing project specific health and safety plans on project sites;</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\"><strong>Environmental Site Assessments:</strong>&nbsp;Overseeing project teams performing complex Phase I to IV Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs);</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\"><strong>Technical Troubleshooting:</strong> Performing senior review and regulatory compliance oversight;</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\"><strong>Technical Developments Recommendation:</strong>&nbsp;Technical report writing and proposal development for submission to provincial and federal regulatory authorities;&nbsp;</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\"><strong>Engineering Drawings:&nbsp;</strong>Create engineering drawings to support the communication, evaluation, and implementation of engineering solutions.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\"><strong>Data Collection and Analysis:</strong> Collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats.&nbsp;</span>Involves working independently.&nbsp;</li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\"><strong>Project Management:</strong> Supervising project teams completing field activities including monitoring/sampling, excavation, drilling and remedial activities;&nbsp;Procuring services and contract management; Supporting Project Managers and Business Groups on various environmental and industrial projects; Leading internal project teams for multi-media assessments of complex sites; Possessing strong project management, coordination and planning skills to meet client timelines and budget;</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\"><strong>Testing:</strong> Use product specifications to design test procedures and standards.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\"><strong>Research:</strong> Completing peer reviews, providing recommendations, and quality control/quality review of technical reports;</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\"><strong>Personal Capability Building:</strong> Supporting the growth of the environmental practice in Eastern Canada.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\"><strong>Client &amp; Customer Management (External):</strong> Interacting with clients, contractors, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies;</span></li></ul><p><span lang=\"EN-CA\"><strong><u>&nbsp;</u></strong></span></p><p><span lang=\"EN-CA\"><strong>What you will bring to the team:</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">An undergraduate or Graduate degree in Science or Engineering. P.Eng. or P.Geo. designation considered an asset.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">A minimum of 8 years of environmental consulting experience completing ESAs and remediation projects.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Knowledge of Provincial and Federal environmental guidelines and regulations.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">A comprehensive understanding and experience working&nbsp;with the New Brunswick framework and/or&nbsp;Atlantic Risk-Based Corrective Action (RBCA) process would be a great asset.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">A comprehensive understanding and experience with Federal framework and/or FCSAP process would be a great asset.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle;</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments; meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Excellent communication, mentoring and technical writing skills.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Bilingual in French and English are considered an asset.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Attention to detail.
