Other duties may be assigned.</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Performs and maintains appropriate Measurement System Analysis.</li><li>Responsible for gauge calibration support for off-shift hours on an &quot;on call&quot; basis.</li><li>Maintains and ensures the calibration of the gauge inventory.</li><li>Performs gauge lab activities in order to support production and engineering research.</li><li>Confers with multi-disciplinary teams.</li><li>Originates product/process and containment/improvement documentation, such as corrective action forms, change request reviews, etc.</li><li>Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.</li><li>Responsible for development and adherence to the policies, procedures and instructions of the Quality, Materials, and Safety &amp; Environmental systems.</li><li>Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product.</li><li>Performs daily CMM checks for production validation.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS &nbsp;</strong></p><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or three or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. &nbsp;Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and functional knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, layout inspections, and Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) operations.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>LANGUAGE SKILLS</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively TO customers and/or employees of organization. &nbsp; Must be able to read and understand English.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>MATHEMATICAL SKILLS</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of statistical process control. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>REASONING ABILITY</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS&nbsp;</strong></p><p><span style='font-size:15px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;' data-pasted=\"true\">MSA Certification, Calibration Certification and/or ASQ Certification are desirable.&nbsp;</span></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS &nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
