Description

Willow Creek Community Church is an egalitarian non-denominational, multi-site church in and across Chicagoland passionate about helping people take next steps to love God, love people, and change the world. We’re looking for a Campus Development Construction Project Manager to help bring ministry spaces to life across our campuses—overseeing commercial construction, remodeling, and grounds projects that make it easier for people to gather, connect, and grow. This role sits at the intersection of project management, relationship building, and problem-solving. You’ll work closely with church leaders, contractors, vendors, and volunteers to make sure projects are completed on time, on budget, and done well. What You’ll Be Responsible For Projects that get done right - You’ll help define scope, build schedules, manage budgets, obtain bids, and oversee contractors and volunteer teams across multiple campuses. Safety, quality, and follow-through matter here. Clear, consistent communication - Stakeholders stay informed, feel heard, and trust the process because you keep people in the loop and handle changes with clarity and care. Strong vendor and contractor relationships - You’ll build long-term partnerships, negotiate preferred pricing where possible, and become a trusted point of contact. Volunteer teams that thrive - You’ll help recruit, organize, and lead volunteer teams to support projects and offset labor costs—developing people while getting great work done. Compensation & Benefits The salary range is $68,000 - $93,000 (dependent upon experience and skill set) and we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Retirement planning with company match Parental paid leave Tuition assistance Generous paid time off If you’re energized by building spaces that serve people—and you’re ready to bring skill, heart, and leadership to meaningful projects—we’d love to hear from you.
