Responsible for educating candidates and staff about Vocational Services, Vocational funding sources, and all related employment resources.</p><p><strong><u>SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong></p><ul><li>Review all incoming referrals and assessing candidates for vocational services.</li><li>Provide Job Coaching, Vocational Evaluations and Work Adjustment Training.</li><li>Monitor the quantity and quality of vocational services provided by staff members.</li><li>Assist clients with obtaining the required documents required by employers (SS Card, ID etc)</li><li>Provide individual vocational-supportive counseling and conduct a strengths and needs assessment of the person. Establish vocational goals and develop plans to attain them.</li><li>Identify barriers as a result of a person&rsquo;s mental health issues and develop strategies to overcome these issues.</li><li>Provide services to teach job seeking skills.</li><li>Hold client groups surrounding vocational support and advancement.</li><li>Perform on the job and off the job site coaching problem solving, and support.</li><li>Establish relationships with employers to develop jobs for ACT clients.</li><li>Maintain relationships with DORS to access funding when a client is eligible.</li><li>Provide benefits counseling and work with the team to assure financial viability in the community and maintenance of proper insurance for treatment of issues.</li><li>Provide case management for an assigned primary caseload including coordinating and monitoring the activities of the individual treatment team; assume responsibility for developing, writing, implementing, evaluating, and revising overall treatment goals and plans in conjunction with the ITP; provide individual supportive counseling; assist in symptom management, ensuring immediate changes are made in the treatment plans as client&rsquo;s needs change. Educate and support client&rsquo;s families, and advocate for client rights and preferences.</li></ul><p><strong><u>PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES</u></strong></p><p>Job development</p><p>Job coaching</p><p>Assess client strengths and needs for Vocational Services.</p><p>Vocational evaluations</p><p><strong><u>EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE AND JOB REQUIREMENTS &nbsp;</u></strong></p><p><u>Education:</u>&nbsp; Bachelor Degree in Vocational Rehab or other Human Services field preferred and at least two years experience in vocational services/mental health field. Must have clean driving record.
