Expand your horizons in a “career-building” position as a member of <strong>Together Women's Health Imaging Center's</strong><strong><em> </em></strong>growing team of imaging professionals.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Experience in stereotactic biopsies, needle localizations and breast ultrasound given special consideration. Great benefits, salary based on experience. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Some Saturday morning availability is needed. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>A strong working knowledge of patient positioning/technical factors</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Gains patient cooperation by reducing anxieties, providing explanations of imaging procedures, explaining equipment, and answering questions</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>The ability to assess complex patient needs</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Practice good clinical decision making and problem-solving skills</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate of a school of Radiologic Technology, registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists</li>\n <li><strong>Mammography certification required</strong></li>\n <li>Must meet ARRT(R)(M) requirements for exam counts and CME</li>\n <li>Two - Three years of mammography experience preferred</li>\n <li>Familiarity with ACR/FDA accreditation practices and regulations required</li>\n <li>Ability to accurately position the patient for imaging according to ACR standards</li>\n <li>Utilize techniques to physically manipulate and apply accessories to produce desired images</li>\n <li>Ability to select technical factors and operate imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images</li>\n <li>Must have at least one year of experience with both screening and diagnostic mammography</li>\n <li>Use of beam restricting devices, patient shielding, assessment and implementation of appropriate exposure factors to minimize radiation exposure</li>\n <li>Basic computer literacy and applications for data entry and records maintenance</li>\n <li>Ability to recognize life threatening conditions and implement basic life sustaining actions</li>\n <li>Maintain BLS certification</li>\n <li>Strong organizational skills; must be able to manage and prioritize multiple workstreams and patient interactions simultaneously</li>\n <li>Exhibit behavior which emphasizes quality, loyalty, conscientiousness, and professionalism</li>\n <li>Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift 20lbs throughout the day</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with patients and team members in a professional and caring manner</li>\n</ul>\n<p>We are excited to hear your personal and professional career goals soon!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Why Together Women’s Health (TWH)?</strong></p>\n<p>Because we do things a bit differently here.
