Our Company vigorously pursues opportunities to recruit and develop job candidates who have the desire and potential for becoming qualified employees through our Affirmative Action Plan.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>M&J is seeking a <strong>Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) / Traffic Control Inspector</strong> to support <strong>Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA)</strong> projects by inspecting and documenting work zone traffic control setups, verifying compliance with approved MOT plans and safety standards, and coordinating corrective actions with the contractor and Resident Engineer.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>· Monitor contractor implementation of Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) and traffic control plans.</p>\n<p>· Inspect temporary traffic control devices including signs, barriers, channelization devices, and pavement markings.</p>\n<p>· Ensure traffic control operations comply with approved plans and safety standards.</p>\n<p>· Monitor work zone safety conditions and coordinate corrective actions with the contractor.</p>\n<p>· Document traffic control inspections and maintain inspection records.</p>\n<p>· Coordinate with the Resident Engineer regarding traffic control issues.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Required</p>\n<p>· Minimum 3–7 years of experience in transportation construction inspection.</p>\n<p>· ATSSA Traffic Control Technician (TCT) or Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS) certification.</p>\n<p>Preferred</p>\n<p>· NICET Level II or III certification.</p>\n<p>· Experience inspecting major highway work zones and traffic staging operations.</p>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p>M&J is a leader in providing quality engineering consulting services to a diverse and exciting client base.
