This position is responsible for preparing cost estimates, organizing bids, communicating with subcontractors, owners, the project team and suppliers to determine the financial needs of completing a project. &nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES&nbsp;</strong>include, but not limited to the following:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.&nbsp;</li><li>Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.&nbsp;</li><li>Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.&nbsp;</li><li>Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.&nbsp;</li><li>Presents special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications.&nbsp;</li><li>Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.&nbsp;</li><li>Review and evaluate cost estimates.&nbsp;</li><li>Communicate with trade partners and team members regarding new and current projects</li><li>Ensure timely completion of estimates</li><li>Understand scope of work to bid</li><li>Manage bid pricing from all vendors</li><li>Prepare cost analysis</li><li>Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and subcontractors.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>3+ years&rsquo; experience in construction estimating</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Accounting, Applied Science, Civil Engineering or related field</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><br></p></div></div>\n    </div>\n  </div></div>\n",
