    "description": "<h2>Summary</h2>\n<p>The Warehouse Supervisor plans, administers, and supervises the warehouse workforce to complete daily warehouse activities and to meet daily productivity standards. Ensures that a safe and healthy work environment is maintained.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Supervises warehouse employees to ensure daily shipping and receiving activities are completed</li>\n <li>Audits outbound freight to ensure correct merchandise is being shipped</li>\n <li>Controls the equipment inspection process to ensure the equipment is safe and in working condition</li>\n <li>Inspects the warehouse fire equipment to ensure all regulations are met</li>\n <li>Plans and executes projects as directed by the Regional Distribution Center Manager</li>\n <li>Trains warehouse workers in regard to warehousing activities</li>\n <li>Maintains accurate time keeping for warehousemen, and pre-authorizes overtime. Plans, schedules, and supervises all dock and staging area activities</li>\n <li>Works closely with inventory control to ensures inventory accuracy by monitoring product movements, confirming location usage and auditing inventory movement</li>\n <li>Frequently audits warehouse activity to make sure all internal safety requirements are being met as well as OSHA guidelines are being followed by employees and anyone working on site</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Knowledge and Skills</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Effective communication (written and verbal) skills</li>\n <li>Leadership skills</li>\n <li>Basic math skills</li>\n <li>Must be able to interact with other employees in a professional manner</li>\n <li>Ability to plan and manage multiple projects with attention to detail</li>\n <li>Strong team player</li>\n <li>Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job</li>\n <li>Proficient computer skills and with Microsoft Office</li>\n <li>Experienced forklift operator – multiple types of machines and multiple types of attachments is a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Education and Experience</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Two to Three years of experience in warehouse operations and inventory control environment</li>\n <li>Solid understanding of shipping and receiving processes are required</li>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent required</li>\n <li>Experience with RF devices and a solid understanding of a WMS is preferred</li>\n <li>Two to Three years experience supervising a diverse team in a fast paced environment</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Physical Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Standing 2-4 hours a day</li>\n <li>Lift 20-49 lbs</li>\n <li>Computer use 6-8 hours a day</li>\n</ul>",
