    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Craft Job Posting Template</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Ironworker I</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>SUMMARY </strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Mortenson is currently seeking an<strong> Ironworker I </strong>that will be responsible for marking, positioning, and securing structural steel members to reinforce concrete or building structures.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Set up, flag, and inspect a crane; inspect rigging properly&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Check in truck deliveries against bill of lading; direct forklift/crane to unload delivery truck&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Shake out rebar, distribute/organize accordingly; use pliers to tie rebar intersections with tie wire&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Cut excess rebar ends and miscellaneous pieces with gas cut saw or cutting torch&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Install mechanical rebar splices by bolting or welding ends together; install caps on vertical rebar dowels for safety&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Receive and offload all major components; install loose components for nacelle, hub, and tower preparation&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Connect blades to hub; set base and tower sections; handle taglines&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Climb ladders (average 80m); effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels&nbsp;</li>\n <li>All other duties as assigned&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or GED&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Minimum four (4) years of related experience&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Must have passed the Apprentice Aptitude Test&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Current driver’s license&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Strong teamwork orientation; positive attitude and professional customer service skills; detail orientation; active listening skills and effective communication, including an openness to diverse input and feedback.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; knowledge of equipment and their uses; understand and apply basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, division, &amp; multiplication); ability to work independently.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements&nbsp;</li>\n <li>*Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Please note: this position description is not intended to be a comprehensive list of the duties and responsibilities of the position.
