To support this challenge, Syngenta’s Commercial Team is currently seeking a Head of Seedcare and Biological Institute (SC&amp;BI) in Stanton, Minnesota.</p><p><strong>Accountabilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Strengthen working relationships with Seedcare customers in the United States through intensively supporting and enhancing their seed treatment application and quality assessment experience.</li><li>Build and implement customer-centric processes to ensure best practices in Seedcare portfolio enablement, while underpinning the Syngenta Seedcare value proposition with customers.</li><li>Lead, design, and shape the key product support, internal and external training, and stewardship aspects required to grow the US Biologicals business.</li><li>Manage the SC&amp;BI facility and operational platform that supports the Seedcare and Biologicals businesses.</li><li>Lead efforts on application technology through excellence in application expertise that will lead customers to look to Syngenta as their source of knowledge in Seedcare.</li><li>Manage relationships with Seedcare application, handling, and planting equipment industries to drive enablement of the Syngenta portfolio.</li><li>Manage relationships with polymer and coating companies to evaluate their technology. Based on evaluations, build recommendations on what products customers should use.</li><li>Actively represent Syngenta North America in the global SC&amp;BI network by leveraging resources available globally to deliver improved processes and technical capabilities with and through the North America SC&amp;BI team.</li><li>Lead seed safety, product compatibility, and QA functional teams within the scope of the Seedcare Institute to ensure delivery of industry-leading recommendations and recipes that meet customer needs.</li><li>Manage up to 8 direct reports and 10–12 permanent and temporary staff members.</li></ul>",

          "text": "<p><strong>Required:</strong></p><ul><li>A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Agricultural or Chemical Engineering, or a related area. A Master’s degree is preferred.</li><li>A minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably leading teams with direct customer engagement.</li><li>A minimum of 8 years of progressive leadership experience leading technical and professional personnel.</li><li>Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship support from Syngenta.</li><li>Up to 25% travel is required.</li><li>Mechanical aptitude for equipment and plant operations.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired:</strong></p><ul><li>Knowledge of seed treatment application, seed quality, and formulation chemistry covering biological products.</li><li>Knowledge of foliar biological products.</li><li>Experience in troubleshooting and root cause evaluation.</li><li>Demonstrated leadership capabilities for leading a varied team of professionals to build confidence with customers.</li><li>Ability to differentiate Syngenta Seedcare and Biological service offering.</li><li>Ability to design and manage field and laboratory projects focused on areas of seed technology and innovation.</li></ul>",
