Sportsbook. Maryland Live! has partnered with FanDuel to bring premier sports wagering to our state‑of‑the‑art Sports & Social® venue—a one‑of‑a‑kind sports bar, restaurant, and gaming environment. Your ability to process bets with precision, verify tickets, monitor odds, and pay out winnings helps ensure every transaction is handled with both speed and integrity. With a strong understanding of probability, point spreads, money lines, and sports wagering rules, you provide guests with confidence and clarity throughout their experience. Through friendly communication, regulatory compliance, and a commitment to exceptional service, you help create an engaging, trustworthy atmosphere that reflects the energy and excitement of the Live! brand.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Where You'll Make an Impact:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Accepts bets and parlay cards and writes tickets on all sporting events from customers in a professional and courteous manner.</li>\n <li>Receives sport or parlay tickets from customers and pays customers who present winning tickets and vouchers.</li>\n <li>Maintains and balances a till for use in issuing and redeeming tickets and vouchers.</li>\n <li>Maintain a neat and well-stocked window for the next shift.</li>\n <li>Responsible for processing transactions accurately and maintaining accurate reconciliations.</li>\n <li>Must be aware of all Title 31 procedures and logging.</li>\n <li>Must know all terms and conditions pertaining to sports wagering.</li>\n <li>Must be fully aware of all lines and odds in the Sports Book.</li>\n <li>Remain alert to any peculiar betting patterns and report such events to the Sports Book Supervisor.</li>\n <li>Ensures compliance with all regulatory controls of the state gaming agency.</li>\n <li>Promotes superior guest service.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Skills to Help You Succeed:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prior sports and sports betting knowledge.</li>\n <li>Effective and friendly communication.</li>\n <li>General understanding of financial information, data, and basic arithmetic functions.</li>\n <li>Thorough knowledge of the approved Responsible Gaming Program.</li>\n <li>Flexible Schedule</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Must-Haves:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school Diploma, GED or equivalent</li>\n <li>1-2 years experience in high-volume cash operations.</li>\n <li>Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>24/7 high energy casino with over 100,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 500 employees</li>\n <li>Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time without sitting or leaning.</li>\n <li>Use of stairs and elevators</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees.</li>\n <li>Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.</li>\n <li>You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Please note that this is a union position, and individuals in this role may be required to pay applicable union dues and fees.</p>\n<h2>What We Offer</h2>\n<p><strong>Perks We Offer You</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Comprehensive group health benefits for full-time and part-time Team Members and their eligible dependents.
