          "text": "<p>As the Accounts&#xa0;Payable &amp;&#xa0;Accounts Receivable Specialist, you&#xa0;will be a key member of the Trupanion Finance team, supporting the organization in delivering&#xa0;an&#xa0;exceptional&#xa0;experience to both policyholders and employees.&#xa0;We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused&#xa0;professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys solving problems.&#xa0;</p><p>In this role, you will serve as a primary liaison between Finance and member-facing departments, managing critical accounts payable and accounts receivable functions while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong internal service levels. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of core accounts payable and&#xa0;accounts&#xa0;receivable functions while partnering closely with teams across the organization. You will also play&#xa0;an important role&#xa0;in supporting accounting operations,&#xa0;maintaining&#xa0;internal controls,&#xa0;and driving process improvements,&#xa0;</p><p>This position is <strong>open to candidates in the Seattle area</strong>. You will have a hybrid remote/in-office schedule where you will work from our casual, pet-friendly office at least 3 days a week.&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:&#xa0;</strong></p><p>Serve as primary liaison&#xa0;with member-facing departments and improve customer experience by executing and&#xa0;maintaining&#xa0;internal service levels in the following areas:&#xa0;</p><ul><li>Processing AP payment runs&#xa0;and accurately&#xa0;record&#xa0;payments in Workday, including any required research and reconciliation&#xa0;</li><li>Respond to internal and external inquiries related to payments, billing, and account activity&#xa0;</li><li>Maintain&#xa0;compliance&#xa0;with internal controls and SOX requirements related to assigned responsibilities&#xa0;</li><li>Support monthly accounting close activities and apply accounting principles to ensure&#xa0;accurate&#xa0;financial reporting&#xa0;</li><li>Prepare deliverables and support the Finance team in meeting internal and external reporting deadlines, including requests from FP&amp;A, Reporting, Tax, and Audit teams&#xa0;</li><li>Track,&#xa0;research, and resolve outstanding payments and collection issues&#xa0;</li><li>Generate and distribute invoices, monthly statements, and accounts receivable reports&#xa0;</li><li>Process&#xa0;check&#xa0;deposits,&#xa0;maintain&#xa0;accurate&#xa0;customer account records, and apply incoming payments&#xa0;</li><li>Identify&#xa0;and implement process improvements within accounting operations&#xa0;</li><li>Collaborate effectively with Finance team members and cross-functional partners across the organization&#xa0;</li><li>Perform&#xa0;additional&#xa0;projects, analyses, and ad hoc duties as assigned&#xa0;</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:&#xa0;</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s&#xa0;degree in&#xa0;Accounting, Finance,&#xa0;Business, or&#xa0;a&#xa0;related field&#xa0;preferred&#xa0;</li><li>2-5 years of relevant&#xa0;accounts payable, accounts receivable, accounting, or finance experience&#xa0;</li><li>Experience working in public company&#xa0;environment is a plus&#xa0;</li><li>Proficiency&#xa0;in Microsoft Excel&#xa0;required&#xa0;</li><li>Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, or other ERP systems&#xa0;preferred&#xa0;</li></ul><p><strong>Skills:&#xa0;&#xa0;</strong></p><ul><li>Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail&#xa0;</li><li>Strong critical thinking and&#xa0;problem-solving&#xa0;abilities&#xa0;</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization&#xa0;</li><li>Ability to independently research, analyze, and resolve issues&#xa0;</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities&#xa0;</li></ul><p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p><ul><li>The base hourly range for this position is $25&#xa0;- $30&#xa0;on a full-time schedule.&#xa0;</li><li>Along with base compensation, Trupanion employees are currently eligible for monthly bonuses.&#xa0;</li><li>We want all employees to be invested in&#xa0;Trupanion’s&#xa0;success, so we grant Restricted Stock Units to all new team members.
