    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.37.25/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\">&nbsp;<link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.37.25/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div class=\"fr-view\"><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.32.25/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\">&nbsp;<link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.32.25/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div class=\"fr-view\"><div><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">Shields Health has an exciting opportunity for a Chief MRI Technologist<strong>&nbsp;</strong>t</span><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">o work Full-Time <strong>(Three scanning days with two admin days</strong></span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; background-color: transparent;\"><strong>)</strong>&nbsp;</span><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">at our facility&nbsp;located in<strong>&nbsp;Hyannis, MA.</strong></span><div><div class=\"fr-view\"><div><div class=\"fr-view\"><div><br><p><strong>PURPOSE AND SCOPE:</strong></p><p>In keeping with Shields Health commitment to excellence, the Chief MRI Technologist will be responsible for the location and employees; ensuring a professional, caring atmosphere is provided to all customer groups, while maintaining a fast-paced, multi-tasked oriented clinical environment.</p><p><strong>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><table border=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\" cellspacing=\"0\"><tbody><tr><td style=\"width: 100%;\"><p>General Responsibilities</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Is the prime coordinator for notification, reporting and assuring smooth functioning of equipment</li><li>Responsible for overseeing Technologist&#39;s activity</li><li>Plans, directs, and organizes Technologist activity and schedule including implementation of protocols</li><li>Is available for consultation on an emergency basis should problems arise</li><li>Promotes a harmonious and professional working relationship in the Center, throughout the organization and with referral sources</li></ul></td></tr><tr><td style=\"width: 100%;\"><p>Patient Care</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Assumes responsibility for delivering patient care.</li><li>Initiates, monitors and terminates procedures.</li><li>Assists in cleaning up after treatment.</li><li>Assumes responsibility that all patients are informed as to clinical policies and addresses patient inquires or ensures follow through by qualified personnel</li><li>Contrast administration.</li></ul></td></tr><tr><td style=\"width: 100%;\"><p>Equipment</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Has a thorough working knowledge of equipment currently in use, and specific effects which can be reasonably anticipated with the various types of equipment.</li><li>Establishes a schedule of preventative maintenance and assures proper documentation of such</li><li>In the event of improperly functioning equipment, notifies the proper parties to correct the situation and/or secure additional equipment for use</li><li>Assures adequate supplies of medical and radiographic equipment</li></ul></td></tr><tr><td style=\"width: 100%;\"><p>Evaluation of Equipment and Education:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Assumes responsibility for teaching and planning proper cleaning of equipment</li><li>Assists in developing new procedural techniques and implementing such techniques or protocols as directed by the Medical Director.</li><li>Assists in evaluating new equipment and performance of existing equipment.</li><li>Makes recommendations and communicates on a regular basis with the Medical Director and Chief Operating Officer.</li><li>Reports on the technical competence of Technologists to the Medical Director and critiques such</li><li>Cooperates in the orientation and training of new protocols.</li><li>Participates in and attends staff meetings</li><li>Works to promote a sense of worth in all personnel by recognition of their individual contributions to the center&#39;s team.</li><li>Continually strives to maintain and upgrade competence, education and skills. Utilizes professional resources as well as self-motivational techniques to do so.</li></ul></td></tr></tbody></table><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Must possess an Associates of Applied Science Degree from an approved collegiate or hospital based Radiologic Technology or Therapy Program and be A.R.R.T. certified. MRI certification required.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Must have at least 2 years of MRI experience and have adequate on-the-job training on maintenance of equipment.</li><li>Able to identify or detect and correct any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions or, if unable to do so, able to contact proper resource for repair.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p><ul><li>Must be able to sit and utilize a computer for extended periods of time.</li><li>Must be able to assist patients with mobility difficulties.</li><li>Must be able to push, pull, and lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds. &nbsp;</li><li>Above physical requirements can be met with or without accommodation.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>INTERNAL/EXTERNAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong> This position requires extensive interaction with employees at all organizational levels, and with outside sources.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>NOTE:</strong> It is not intended that this job description includes all details of the work function of this position.
