As a Vegetation Groundman, you will play a vital role by assisting in the removal, clearing, and maintenance of civil, matting, and forestry clearance efforts. If you are passionate about pursuing a career in power grid maintenance and actively making a difference in the safety and efficiency of our nation's infrastructure, we invite you to apply. You will report to the Foreman.</span></p><p class=\"FirstParagraph\">&nbsp;</p><p><span lang=\"EN\"><strong>Essential Functions:&nbsp;</strong></span></p><ul style=\"padding-left: 48px;\"><li><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\">Securing the safety of yourself and others utilizing proper tools, safety equipment, and PPE.</span></p></li><li><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\">Assist in visual observation and safety checks in the process of vegetation management and clearing.</span></p></li><li><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\">Assisting fellow workers in meeting project objectives.</span></p></li><li><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\">Readily joining storm restoration efforts in times of need.</span></p></li><li><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\">Operating vehicles and equipment in a professional and safe manner.</span></p></li><li><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\">Participate in ongoing training to improve technical and leadership skills.</span></p></li><li><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\">Available to work outages, storms, emergencies including on call rotation.</span></p><p class=\"Compact\">&nbsp;</p></li></ul><p class=\"Compact\">&nbsp;</p><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\"><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong></span></p><ul style=\"padding-left: 48px;\"><li><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\">Valid Driver's License and ability to obtain a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within 60 days.</span></p></li><li><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\">Willingness to travel long distances on short notice.</span></p></li><li><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\">Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.</span></p></li><li><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\">Work for extended periods at different job locations, including out‑of‑state assignments.</span></p></li><li><p class=\"Compact\"><span lang=\"EN\">Willing to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, emergency callouts, and overtime.</span></p></li></ul><p class=\"FirstParagraph\">&nbsp;</p><p class=\"FirstParagraph\"><span lang=\"EN\"><strong>Physical Demands:</strong></span></p><p class=\"FirstParagraph\"><span lang=\"EN\">The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job.</span></p><p><span lang=\"EN\">While performing the responsibilities of this job, you will be required to talk, listen and use hand signals to communicate.
