WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Advocacy ProgrammingAccount Supervisor will work intandem with other BET & Advocacypersonnel and will be supported bythe Creative, Content, Production,and Finance departments, as well asadministrative personnel.As an Advocacy ProgrammingAccount Supervisor, the role will beexpected to manage multiple tasksoften times simultaneously. Strengthin communication across channels(mobile, voice and email) is arequirement as the individual will beexpected to lead the managementof coordination efforts againstdelivering upon the Bacardi’s goalsand managing TEAM accountgrowth expectations.A strong sense of accountability and“attention to detail” will be essentialin enabling the individual to thrive inthis environment – while beingconsidered for advancement withinthe organization.
Responsibilities
•Lead the development, management and execution of Advocacy programming.• Be familiar with “field marketing” programs; specifically - the logistics around communicating programgoals, building, and presenting playbooks, utilizing systems/scheduling tools/electronic assets, etc. totrack and measure performance.
• Have spent time working in the “experiential marketing” category – understanding what is required inbuilding and managing events that “bring brands to life” through 1:1 and group interactions.• Possess the ability of being solution-oriented – helping to be forward thinking and anticipating anypotential hurdles that may create a negative consumer/brand interaction.• Utilize a proactive approach to problem solving.• Be highly skilled at interfacing direct with clients and must present themselves in a professional,competent manner. The individual will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to quickly win the trustand respect of their client and peers.• Perform a variety of administrative tasks including responding to client briefs, creating presentations,project timelines, and after-action/contact reports.• Utilize an entrepreneurial approach in winning the respect of the individual’s team and the supportingdepartments, while understanding the required balance of leveraging the agency’s tools and followingexisting effective practices.• Bring a creative and insightful approach to participating/assisting in strategy and creative brainstorming.• Be capable of explaining & presenting the offerings and capabilities of the agency (following onboardingand learning sessions). This will be essential when mining for incremental business opportunitieswith existing clients and for pitching new potential clients.• Maintain and leverage skills at developing, monitoring and managing against budgets; showcasing anunderstanding of cost estimating and properly pricing a program/production within budget constraints,while remaining committed to delivering the agency’s margin threshold.• Practice & ensure compliance with all TEAM policies and procedures.

The individual will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to quickly win the trustand respect of their client and peers• Have a passion for the liquor industry and the category – previous experience developing and executingexperiential programming is a plus• Exhibit initiative and the ability to work independently as well as within a team environment with multipledepartments. Experience with problem solving and conflict resolution is a must• Be solution oriented when confronted with ambiguity. Utilizing a proactive approach to problem solvingwill allow candidates to be forward thinking and anticipate any potential hurdles that may develop intoa negative consumer/brand interaction• Bring an innovative and insightful approach to participating/assisting in strategy and creativebrainstorming for program development, etc.
