This role is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience by crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a welcoming bar atmosphere, and providing attentive, knowledgeable service.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and presentation standards</li>\n <li>Provide attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable service to all guests, creating a welcoming bar experience</li>\n <li>Take and process guest orders accurately using the POS system, handling cash and credit transactions</li>\n <li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including bar top, service areas, and equipment</li>\n <li>Ensure the bar is fully stocked with liquor, beer, wine, garnishes, and supplies throughout each shift</li>\n <li>Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service in compliance with all laws and company policies</li>\n <li>Check guest identification to verify legal drinking age</li>\n <li>Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth and efficient service</li>\n <li>Set up and break down the bar for service, including opening and closing duties</li>\n <li>Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards</li>\n <li>Assist with inventory counts and notify management of low stock or supply needs</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, bar, or hotel environment preferred</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine</li>\n <li>Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills</li>\n <li>Ability to multitask and perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order-taking and cash handling</li>\n <li>Basic math skills for handling payments and making change</li>\n <li>Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods of time</li>\n <li>Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays</li>\n <li>Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol in New Jersey</li>\n <li>TIPS or similar alcohol service certification preferred (or ability to obtain upon hire)</li>\n <li>Professional appearance and demeanor</li>\n</ul>",
