Learn more at www.rmsmachining.com and www.cretexmedical.com.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Quality Inspector Position Summary</strong></p>\n<p>The Quality Inspector supports the production floor & reports to the Production Supervisor, ensuring product compliance to quality and industry specifications.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>1st Shift:</strong> Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Quality Inspector Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Inspection of received materials, components, and assemblies relating to quality, appearance, and performance</li>\n <li>Interpret and accurately document the results of the inspections and testing </li>\n <li>Report and isolate non-conforming product </li>\n <li>Use a variety of inspection measurement tools and gages (Micrometer, Caliper, Gage Pins, Indicators, Thread Gages, Profilometer, Optical Comparator, Microscopes)</li>\n <li>Operate various precision testing equipment including but not limited to Tool Scope, CMM, and Vision systems</li>\n <li>Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements</li>\n <li>Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work</li>\n <li>Partner with other business segments:  sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance</li>\n <li>Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve</li>\n <li>Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly</li>\n <li>Participate in required company meetings </li>\n <li>Maintain an organized work area (5S)</li>\n <li>Participate in the Operational Excellence Program </li>\n <li>Complete all other work duties as assigned</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a manufacturing environment</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Requirements/Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Basic knowledge of inspection equipment use and maintenance</li>\n <li>Ability to work from customer supplied drawings and specifications</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate inspection results with team members</li>\n <li>Ability to quickly shift priorities in support of production inspection needs</li>\n <li>Manage multiple requirements and deadlines </li>\n <li>Mechanical Aptitude</li>\n <li>Dexterity and hand and eye coordination</li>\n <li>Ability to use a microscope and hand tools</li>\n <li>Ability to cross train in other areas of production when required</li>\n <li>Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)</li>\n <li>Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills </li>\n <li>Attention to detail</li>\n <li>Organizational skills </li>\n <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment</li>\n <li>Ability to prioritize and multitask</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Desirable Requirements/Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment</li>\n <li>Experience with measuring instruments, methods and practices including hand tools and machine devices including CMM and Vision Systems</li>\n <li>Knowledge of ISO 9001/13485</li>\n <li>Quality training/certifications </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>rms Company Benefits </strong></p>\n<p>As a Cretex Medical company, rms offers a full benefit package to its employees. Testing is conducted on a periodic basis to ensure that all chemicals are kept well below the OSHA permissible exposure levels.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>\n<p>#LI-LB1</p>\n<h2>Pay Range</h2>USD $18.22 - USD $25.53 /Hr.\n<h2>Pay Range Details</h2>\n<p>This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade, based on our market-based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions.
