    "description": "<h2>Description</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensuring that the product/service and process meet quality and safety standards in accordance with NAVSEA and NIWC requirements</li>\n <li>Researching and preparing drafts and/or finished technical drawings to program management and customers</li>\n <li>Assisting in receipt, distribution, and local management of Design Agent produced technical data in support of the local production of CSRR, GBS, CANES, and ADNS systems</li>\n <li>Incorporating and maintaining the most current CSRR SCN and Modernization drawing packages to include all drawing redlines</li>\n <li>Developing and maintaining  Master PLAR/LAR/RLAR matrixes for CSRR SCN and Modernization drawing packages</li>\n <li>Reviewing and analyzing released engineering change data and redline drawings and submitting recommended changes to engineering, quality, materials, and support</li>\n <li>Collecting data and status reports from Corporate Production required for weekly/bi-weekly Production & Integration meetings</li>\n <li>Providing direct support to the Afloat Submarine C4I IPT Technical Lead in drawing and engineering documentation review</li>\n <li>Reviewing preliminary and existing technical engineering drawing documentation for discrepancies</li>\n <li>Developing and submitting proposed recommended resolutions in support of PARMALT Liaison Action Records (PLARs) or Planning Yard Liaison Action Records (LARs) submissions</li>\n <li>Providing DMSMS support as required</li>\n <li>Participating in System Integration Team (SIT) meetings and Systems Engineering Working Group (SEWG) meetings</li>\n <li>Participating in all CSRR Production meetings with NIWC Atlantic Corporate Production contractors and other NIWC Atlantic staff and Industry Partners to resolve drawings and part issues</li>\n <li>Providing cursory QA reviews of production work as directed</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>#LI-JC1</em></p>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Four (4) or more years of experience solving technical problems</li>\n <li>Trained in the skills and techniques related to engineering and/or software design/maintenance</li>\n <li>Possesses a practical understanding of engineering/software concepts</li>\n <li>Experience testing equipment/system to make sure that the process operates effectively and safely</li>\n <li>Capable of performing depot-level repair and tests of equipment and cables in accordance with NAVSEA and NIWC requirements</li>\n <li>Ability to interpret plans and drawings and contribute to the design and fabrication of Exterior Communication Systems (ECS) equipment and cables</li>\n <li>Knowledge of computer aided drafting (CAD), ability to prepare shop drawings for model construction, and familiarity with material specifications and fabrication methods</li>\n <li>Experience developing/maintaining and interpreting project timelines as required</li>\n <li>Experience developing test procedures and removal/installation procedures as required</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Desired Skills</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Familiarity working with a wide range of government civilians (NAVSEA, PEO C4I, NUWC, and naval shipyards), military personnel, contractors, shipbuilders, and vendors</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate effectively via telephone, email and in person</li>\n <li>Verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Problem-solving and analytical skills</li>\n <li>Ability to read and correctly interpret engineering Level 3 mechanical, electrical, wiring table, and sub-assembly fabrication drawings and documents</li>\n <li>Short-term planning and computer skills</li>\n <li>Knowledge of engineering/Mil-Spec/Mil-Std/NAVSEA methods, operation techniques, and other principles in determining potential solutions</li>\n <li>Experience working with Exterior Communication Systems and Equipment onboard USN Submarines</li>\n <li>Proficient with:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Microsoft Word</li>\n   <li>Microsoft Excel</li>\n   <li>Microsoft PowerPoint</li>\n   <li>Microsoft Project</li>\n   <li>Microsoft Visio</li>\n   <li>Microsoft Access</li>\n   <li>Microsoft Team</li>\n   <li>Winzip</li>\n   <li>7-Zip</li>\n   <li>Adobe Professional</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Familiar with:\n  <ul>\n   <li>SolidWorks, Creo or Inventor</li>\n   <li>AutoCAD/Visio</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Clearance Information</h2>\n<p><strong>SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL</strong></p>\n<h2>Travel Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimal travel; potentially once per year</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Us</h2>\n<p>Scientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry, as well as independent institutions.
