white-space: normal; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; float: none; display: inline !important;\" data-pasted=\"true\">Our Beacon team is looking to add MHTs or CNAs at our Behavioral Hospital at our Bunkie Inpatient Facility. &nbsp;Our team is seeking PRN for 7AM - 7PM or 7PM to 7AM shifts. &nbsp;Our MHTs and/or CNAs play a critical role in delivering compassionate and effective care to patients within a behavioral health setting.&nbsp;</span></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">&bull; High school graduate or G.E.D. is required.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">&bull; One year experience in a mental health care setting preferred (preferably as a Mental Health Technician or Certified &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Nursing Assistant).</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">&bull; Appropriate education in a mental health related field might be substituted for experience.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong>SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">&bull; Demonstrates teamwork by carrying out routine and assigned tasks within the Beacon program.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">&bull; Assists in provision of maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu by monitoring compliance with program rules, providing &nbsp; assistance with security and supportive manpower by assisting in control of patients who exhibit unacceptable behavior.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">&bull; Documents patient&rsquo;s departure from program (i.e. transportation to and from program) and significant occurrences,&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; observed behavior, vital signs, and observation findings on assigned patients and as required by the professional nurse.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">&bull; Recognizes the impact of group contagion by behavior and demonstrates assistance with therapeutic interventions.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">&bull; Assists clinician with patient care tasks and therapist with therapeutic interventions.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">&bull; Performs clerical duties related to support of Health Information Management, Intake, Administrative Assistant, Clinic &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Manager and Administrator.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">&bull; Performs other duties and special projects as required.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">&bull; Displays flexibility and willingness to help others, identifies and offers solutions to problem, vision, foresight, and &nbsp;
