This is a strong opportunity for someone with automotive manufacturing, scheduling, inventory control, or ERP experience who enjoys a fast-paced environment where accuracy matters.</p><h2>What You Will Do</h2><p>· Schedule production runs, sample activity, and mold change activity for manufacturing operations.</p><p>· Issue production job tickets according to the production schedule.</p><p>· Maintain accurate ERP/MRP information, including BOMs, forecasts, routings, pricing, descriptions, and multi-shot item data.</p><p>· Work closely with Shipping and Quality to help ensure product is ready to meet customer shipping schedules.</p><p>· Monitor production activity, review production and operating reports, and help resolve scheduling, manufacturing, or maintenance-related delays.</p><p>· Communicate schedule changes, exceptions, and logistics updates to internal teams and customers as needed.</p><p>· Support continuous improvement efforts with Production, Quality Assurance, Engineering Services, and Operations.</p><p>· Help ensure labor standards in Bills of Materials are accurate, current, and periodically reviewed.</p><p>· Contribute to department goals while maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work area.</p><h2>What We Are Looking For</h2><p>The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, dependable, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a manufacturing environment.</p><p>· High school diploma or GED required; additional relevant education or equivalent experience preferred.</p><p>· 3 to 5 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, production scheduling, inventory control, or ERP/MRP systems preferred.</p><p>· Experience with automotive industry practices and standards preferred.</p><p>· Understanding of EDI functions and basic transactions preferred.</p><p>· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.</p><p>· Strong written and verbal communication skills.</p><p>· Strong analytical, math, and problem-solving skills.</p><p>· Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and follow-through.</p><p>· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</p><p>· High personal integrity and commitment to quality in all work performed.</p><h2>Why Join Us?</h2><p>You will play an important role in keeping production aligned with customer needs.
