    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p>Optim Medical Center - Screven is seeking a PRN/Flex Shift Medical Laboratory Technician for our Sylvania, GA location.&nbsp;</p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Essential Job Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Performing phlebotomy and preparing specimen for in-house and reference lab testing.</li><li>Performs technical lab functions including operating automated chemistry, hematology, immunology, and urinalysis instruments under the supervision of the Medical Technologist.</li><li>Performs manual tests in accordance with detailed instructions.</li><li>Verifies quality control according to laboratory protocol and is accurate in record keeping.</li><li>Reports test results following clinical protocols under supervision of Medical Technologist, alerting physicians or nurses immediately of critical and abnormal results.</li><li>Assists Medical Technologist with maintaining instruments, equipment and inventory of supplies.</li><li>Complies with all quality assurance policies and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations related to safety, cleanliness, and infection control.</li><li>Operate effectively in LIS and office EMR computer systems.</li><li>Duties may vary as need arises.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Required skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Good analytical judgment and the ability to work under pressure</li><li>Manual dexterity and normal color vision</li><li>Integrated computer &nbsp;systems experience&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Education and Training</strong></p><ul><li>Associate degree or certificate from accredited Medical Laboratory Technician program</li><li>Current AMT or ASCP license/registry (or equivalent) required</li><li>2 years lab experience, preferably in clinical office lab&nbsp;</li></ul><p>Optim offers: &nbsp;Competitive Pay, Excellent Benefit Plan including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, FSA, LTD and STD, Vacation, Personal Time Off and Sick Leave, Holiday Pay, 401K plan</p></div>\n",
